Prasert — Our Story
Prasert was established in Khon Kaen with a straightforward purpose: to offer families in the northeast of Thailand a place to turn when they are navigating the practical and legal weight of losing someone. Estate matters are rarely simple, and they often arrive at the most difficult moments. We wanted to build a practice that felt different — one that made time, spoke plainly, and stayed by your side for as long as it was needed.
Over the years, we have supported families across a wide range of inheritance matters — from those with a clear will and cooperative heirs, to more involved situations involving multiple assets, family members abroad, or estates reaching into the courts. Each case has reinforced the same thing: what people need most, alongside legal knowledge, is someone who will listen without hurry and explain things without jargon.

Somchai founded the practice after fifteen years with estate law chambers in Bangkok and Khon Kaen. He handles end-to-end estate matters and leads the practice's approach to family-centred support.

Inheritance legal support in northeast Thailand
Prasert works with individuals and families across Khon Kaen Province and the wider Isan region on inheritance and estate matters arising under Thai law. Our work covers the full range of estate administration tasks — locating and valuing assets, applying for appointment as estate administrator, preparing and lodging inheritance documents with the relevant courts and offices, and corresponding with land registries, financial institutions, and government bodies on behalf of the estate.
Thai inheritance law draws primarily from Book VI of the Civil and Commercial Code, which sets out the statutory order of heirs, the rules around testamentary succession, and the rights of surviving spouses. Our advisers understand this framework in depth and can explain how it applies to your family's particular circumstances, whether a will is present or not.
Many of the families we support come to us without a clear sense of where to begin. That is entirely normal. Estate matters rarely arrive at convenient times, and the paperwork and process can feel overwhelming alongside the personal weight of loss. Our role is to bring order, clarity, and quiet steadiness to a process that can otherwise feel daunting.
